So, who am I?

I am a Career Coach. My main mission is to help others. I do this by helping to develop, change, or grow careers.

I discovered my passion for Career Coaching after a sudden job loss after the company I was working at for seven years decided to restructure. After a period of panic and mindlessly submitting applications for anything I could find with no success, I remember thinking there must be a better way. I started researching, and then training, on career theories, job search strategies, personal branding and coaching. I became a Career Coach. Because, yes, there are better ways.

A good Career Coach is a mentor and facilitator that helps guide you through self-discovery. A Coach does not tell you what to do but allows a person to see options and make choices. My methodology follows the current research in the field overall, and I take care of keeping on top of all new developments in the field.

I am a member of the National Career Development Association, the North Carolina Career Development Association, and Career Thought Leadership. I hold three professional certifications, Certified Career Services Specialist, Global Career Development Facilitator, and Certified Career Transition.
