Who am I

Our founder

Karen Parker realized that in today's world Career Planning can no longer be based on seeking a linear career. With turbulent times comes unexpected and unplanned changes. The key is to become and remain employable and relevant.

Karen is a member of the National Career Development Association, the North Carolina Career Development Association, and Career Thought Leadership. I hold three professional certifications, Certified Career Services Specialist, Global Career Development Facilitator, and Certified Career Transition.

Her story

I discovered my passion for Career Coaching after a sudden job after seven years due to restructure. After a period of panic and mindlessly submitting applications for anything I could find with no success, I remember thinking there must be a better way. I started researching, and then training, on career theories, job search strategies, personal branding and coaching. I became a Career Coach. Because, yes, there are better ways.
